Melody Sherosky is a layout
and design artist, editor, and writer. She holds a B.A. in
Communications and Media Studies from Penn State, Behrend,
where her focus was print publication. She also studied
news and print media in Australia at the University of
Queensland.
Melody began The Blind Press flagship publication,
BMR, in 1992, after becoming part of the
growing poetry community in Erie, PA. Since then, she
has published the magazine from Australia, New York
City, Denver, and Montana. She is also the judge of The
Blind Press poetry contest. In her time as editor,
Melody has had the chance to be the guest judge for
other publications / contests and has led workshops and
classes on poetry and publishing.
Now in rural NW Montana, Melody and The Blind Press are
